John “Toast” Oast and Dan Hart of Fishyaker.com demonstrate how easy it is to install a fish finder onto a sit-on-top kayak. All that is needed is a fish finder with cables and transducer, sandpaper, Marine Goop or epoxy, mounting hardware, a screwdriver, and a drill. Make sure you allow the glue to fully dry before moving the kayak. Most any 12 volt hobby battery can be used as a power source. Check out the Fishyaker Youtube site for more kayak fishing how-to’s.
